Choosing between the 25k and 50k accounts

Cost
There is negligible cost difference between the 25k and 50k accounts. Typically, depending on the offers available, either account can be purchased for around $90. So cost is not a factor.

Difficulty
Both accounts require 2.5 wins to pass, with no more than 2 consecutive losing days.

With the 25k account, after two consecutive losing days you will still have some room to trade and recover the account, but in practise it is more efficient to reset and try again rather than spend time and effort recovering. With the 50k account, after two consecutive losing days the account will be practically unrecoverable.

So there is no practical difference between the accounts.

Flexibility
The 25k account allows you to trade 1 or 2 contracts from the outset, and it can make sense to trade either depending on market conditions.
The 50k account allows you to trade 1 or 2 contracts from the outset, but practically it only makes sense to trade 2 contracts. After $1500 profit is achieved, the 50k account allows 4 contracts. On this basis, the 25k is more flexible.

Potential profit
With the 25k account, the first withdrawl is likely to be $1500, and on the 50k it is likely to be $3000.

Summary
Both accounts generally cost the same and take the same effort and time to pass. However, the 50k account offers double the reward and therefore double the risk:reward. On that basis, the 50k is the preferred account.
